{"id":3788,"date":"2021-08-04T04:41:05","date_gmt":"2021-08-04T11:41:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/happybirdsnest.com\/info\/?p=3788"},"modified":"2021-08-04T04:44:21","modified_gmt":"2021-08-04T11:44:21","slug":"taco-braid","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/happybirdsnest.com\/info\/taco-braid.html","title":{"rendered":"Taco Braid"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>How to make Taco Braid<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3789\" src=\"https:\/\/happybirdsnest.com\/info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/231844229_3096681663882153_949955997568038320_n.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"960\" height=\"960\" srcset=\"https:\/\/happybirdsnest.com\/info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/231844229_3096681663882153_949955997568038320_n.jpg 960w, https:\/\/happybirdsnest.com\/info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/231844229_3096681663882153_949955997568038320_n-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/happybirdsnest.com\/info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/231844229_3096681663882153_949955997568038320_n-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/happybirdsnest.com\/info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/231844229_3096681663882153_949955997568038320_n-768x768.jpg 768w, https:\/\/happybirdsnest.com\/info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/231844229_3096681663882153_949955997568038320_n-100x100.jpg 100w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Ingredients:<\/h2>\n<p>1lb.\/470g Of Lean Ground Beef.<\/p>\n<p>One refrigerated pizza crust.<\/p>\n<p>2 CUPS.Of chopped* lettuce.<\/p>\n<p>1 CUP.Of shredded* cheese: Fiesta Blend.<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 CUP.Of chopped* onion.<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 CUP.Of water.<\/p>\n<p>3 TBSP.Of Homemade Taco-Seasoning.<\/p>\n<p>2 TBSP.Of olive oil.<\/p>\n<p>1 diced tomato+more for topping.<\/p>\n<p>2 TBSP.Of melted* unsalted butter.<\/p>\n<p>Sour cream Or taco sauce for serving.<\/p>\n<h2>Directions:<\/h2>\n<p>STEP 1:<\/p>\n<p>Using the parchment to arrange a rimmed baking sheet by lining it.<\/p>\n<p>I set my oven temperature to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.<\/p>\n<p>STEP 2:<\/p>\n<p>I heat the olive oil in a big skillet over medium heat.<\/p>\n<p>I added in the chopped onion and cooked for around 5 minutes, until tender.<\/p>\n<p>I stir in the Lean Ground Beef, then I simmer until brown.<\/p>\n<p>I added water and the homemade taco-seasoning and I blended until well combined.<\/p>\n<p>I lower the heat and boil for 7 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>STEP 3:<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, I moved the parchment paper to my work board.<\/p>\n<p>I placed the parchment with the pizza dough and I rolled it so that it measures 10.15inches.<\/p>\n<p>I made slices 1 inch and a half and 3 inches around the two long sides of the crust with a pizza cutter.<\/p>\n<p>I placed the ground beef in the middle of the dough.<\/p>\n<p>Using a 3\/4 cup of cheese to coat the beef and then I added the diced tomato.<\/p>\n<p>I folded the end up, beginning at one end of the braid, and wrapped the first two slices to secure it.<\/p>\n<p>STEP 4:<\/p>\n<p>For the remaining slices, I repeated the wrapping only before the last two.<\/p>\n<p>I folded up the remaining end and wrapped around it to protect the last two slices.<\/p>\n<p>STEP 5:<\/p>\n<p>I brushed the top and sides softly with the molten butter. And I sprinkled on top of the remaining 1\/4 cup cheese.<\/p>\n<p>STEP 6:<\/p>\n<p>On to the rimmed baking sheet, I moved the parchment, and I baked until golden brown, for 20 to 25 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>I let it cool before serving for 5 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>STEP 7:<\/p>\n<p>For the topping, I covered the top with chopped Romaine lettuce and additional tomato. And serve the taco braid with sour cream and taco sauce.<\/p>\n<p>It was delicious like I said, and I really hope it would be enjoyed by your families.
