How to make Fried Green Tomatoes
I sliced the tomatoes and put them on a plate a sprinkled salt on both sides lightly to draw out the water I waited for 20 minutes.
After that with a napkin, I soak up the water.
I used 1 cup of cornmeal and 1/2 cup of flour and 2 eggs.
I dipped the tomatoes in plain flour first then into the egg then into the flour/cornmeal mixture and then fry them till golden color.
Add salt and other spices of your liking to the cornmeal mixture.
