How to make Red Velvet Cheesecake
Ingredients :
- 1 red food coloring ( 2 t )
- 3 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cocoa
- 1 buttermilk
- 1/2 butter
- 1/2 shortening
- 2 cups of sugar
- 5 eggs
- 2 small spoon vanilla
Cream Cheese Frosting
- cream cheese softened
- 1 stick butter
- 1 lb. box confectioner’s sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Methods :
Step 1:
Whisk cream butter, shortening, and sugar until light. Beat in eggs one at a time, beating well after every addition. Mix in vanilla and food coloring.
Step 2:
Sieve together flour, soda, cocoa, and salt. Add to creamed mixture every other with buttermilk.
Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees about 1hours. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Decorate as desired.
